Best buns in the valley. Cinnamon buns that is. Smoking Water Coffee Company has great treats including made fresh daily cinnamon buns, muffins, scones, soups, sandwiches, and really tasty breakfast items such as Belgian waffles, eggs Benedict or a custom-made breakfast of your choice.
Chef Cindy Levagood had summered in Fairmont with her family until making the move permanent three-and-a-half years ago. A professional chef, trained at Dubrulle French Culinary School in Vancouver, Cindy brings her expertise and a love of great service to her new endeavour as owner of Smoking Water Coffee Company. Before buying the cafe in 2001, Cindy had a catering service in Vancouver for five years and worked as an events planner for 11. A warm, rustic cafe/bistro, homemade food, friendly staff, and a comfortable atmosphere. She also offers in-house or off-site catering services from light appetizers to a full buffet meal.
Smoking Waters Coffee Company has a beautiful patio with an awning for those summer afternoons that find you looking at terrific views of the mountains while enjoying a great meal. There is also a private label coffee of Smoking Water Blend to enjoy.
Smoking Waters is family-friendly, with a complete kids menu and a table for coloring while parents sit in large overstuffed club chairs near the fireplace enjoying their meal.

With working in many areas around Canada from restauarants, casinos,
hotels and resorts.
Came to find summer employment in 2014, In Fairmont Hot Springs and now staying until Autumn 2015 at least.
Smoking Waters Coffee Company
Heather was born & raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She moved to the Calgary area in 1998, where she married the love of her life in 1999. In 2002 she had a daughter, Deanna, who now also works part time at Smoking Waters.
Heather & her husband Glenn owned their own fireplace business in the foothills for 11 years before the failing economy in the Calgary area forced them to shut their doors.
They then decided to live the dream, by moving to the Kootenay valley.
Heather started working at Smoking Waters in the fall of 2012, and brings years of catering, event, banquet, and restaurant serving to the cafe. In addition, her years of owning and running the behind the scenes of small business, mean that Heather brings many talents to the cafe.
