Nychole Lenius and I am the mother of two boys. Growing up my Godmother made me Christmas ornaments out of eggs and when I moved out she gave me a box of beautiful handmade ornaments and told me that my tree was now filled with memories.Christmas is always a tough time of year financially, but when you first move out and you have to buy ALL the Christmas decorations as well, it seemed overwhelming. I was so greatful that I had some beautiful decorations for my tree.  

 

When I had my first son 7 years ago, I thought that I would give him the same gift. So I made him an egg. It was a little rough at first but over the years, I have improved my technique. I started making them for my nieces, friends kids and my second son as gifts as well.  Upon the suggestion from someone I started to make them for other people. I now like to think that other peoples trees are now filled with memories and a little piece of me.
